Sandy Davison is a second-generation PGA Member who grew up in the golf industry and has over 28years of experience as a PGA golf professional. He is an expert in upscale golf and club operations. He has excelled with the Professional Golfer’s Association of America, having graduated first in his class in the PGA Golf Professional Training Program and also became one of the first 28 PGA golf professionals to complete all 6 levels of the PGA Certified Professional Program. The Certified Professional Program includes a Harvard Mentor Plus curriculum and is equivalent to an advanced college degree. His certifications include General Management, Executive Management, Golf Operations, Ownership/Leasing, Retail and Instruction. Mr. Davison has also been recognized by Golf World Business Magazine as a past winner of the Top 100 Golf Shop Operations in America Awards.
Before joining Bobby Jones Links as the General Manager at The Captain’s Club and Sugarbush Golf Club, Mr. Davison served as a General Manager, Director of Golf, and Head Golf Professional at some of the most prestigious clubs in the United States. He served with Troon Golf and Sage Golf Group, Mystic Creek Golf Club, Atlanta National Golf Club, Superstition Mountain Golf Club, The Club at Carlton Woods, Desert Mountain Club, Baltusrol Golf Club and Paradise Valley Country Club. While serving at these various clubs, he was involved with hosting several PGA TOUR, LPGA and USGA events.
Mr. Davison is an accomplished player, having played as an amateur in the United States Amateur and British Amateur Championships and finishing as Medalist in the prestigious North & South Amateur in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Mr. Davison is also an accomplished teacher, having worked with many Top 100 Instructors, including David Leadbetter, Dave Pelz, Jim Flick, Mike Malaska, Jack Lumpkin and Davis Love Jr.
A native of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Mr. Davison attended the University of North Florida on a golf scholarship, was a First Team All-American, a member of the 1993 NAIA National Championship team and was inducted into the UNF Athletics Hall of Fame.
For fun, Mr. Davison enjoys riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, watching the Georgia Bulldogs, fishing, hiking, and building model trains. His wife Michelle and their dogs Bear, Yoda, Lucy and Harley are enjoying living in Michigan.

Alex Swoyer is a hospitality and club operations professional currently serving as the Food & Beverage Director and Event Coordinator here at Sugarbush Golf Club. With over 20 years of restaurant and hospitality experience, Alex has developed a strong background in food and beverage management, event coordination, staff leadership, and guest service.
At Sugarbush Golf Club, Alex plays a key role in overseeing daily operations, managing weddings and special events, creating menus and promotions, and ensuring a high-quality experience for guests and season pass holders alike. His experience spans both restaurant and golf club environments, giving him a well-rounded understanding of hospitality operations and customer relations.
Known for his hands-on leadership style, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service, Alex brings professionalism, operational knowledge, and a guest-first mindset to every aspect of his work. Alex is an excellent player, and he has a passion for the game of golf.

Kerri Bowlby began her career in the wedding and event industry after graduating from the University of Michigan-Flint in 2004. Shortly after graduation, she relocated to Hilton Head Island, where she worked as an Independent Wedding Coordinator with Amanda Rose Weddings, gaining valuable experience in luxury wedding planning and client relations.
After returning to Michigan, Kerri joined The Captain’s Club Golf & Event Center in 2009, where she quickly became a respected leader in the wedding and events industry. During her tenure, the venue was honored with The Knot & WeddingWire’s “Best of Weddings” award consecutively from 2011 through 2019, recognizing excellence in service and client experience.
Following a brief time away, Kerri returned to The Captain’s Club in 2023 as Director of Sales, overseeing event bookings for both The Captain’s Club Golf & Event Center and Sugarbush Golf Club. She is passionate about creating memorable experiences for every client and takes pride in guiding couples, families, and organizations through every step of the planning process. Kerri especially enjoys helping newly engaged couples envision their dream wedding at each venue and bringing those visions to life.
Outside of work, Kerri enjoys spending time with her husband Marc, their son Wyatt, and their dog Sunny.

Eric Trevino is the Head Golf Professional at Sugarbush Golf Club with over 25 years in the golf industry. He is a lifelong resident of Genesee County and a class of 1992 graduate of Genesee High School. His experience includes staff development, golf operations, merchandising and hospitality.
Eric started his journey in the golf industry at Vienna Greens golf course in Clio, Michigan working at the golf shop counter and assisting with outdoor services in the early 90"s. His first Assistant Professional position began at Fenton Farms Golf Club in Fenton, Michigan where he helped build a large member, league and outing presence at the club from 1999 to 2003. He also worked at the customer service counter at the Inside Swing golf Dome from 2003 to 2006.
After a year out of the industry, Eric ultimately found his way back to the golf industry and a community that has been a privilege to be involved with at Sugarbush Golf Club in 2007 to present day. During his tenure at Sugarbush Golf Club, he built a strong member, league, outing and daily fee presence with the help of his amazing staff. He has also participated in numerous golf course projects over the years with the talented maintenance staff that have shaped Sugarbush Golf Club into one of the premier golf courses in Genesee County and the state of Michigan.
Eric enjoys playing golf, guitar and spending time with friends and family.

Damon holds a Bachelor of Science in Crop and Soil Science with a specialization in Turfgrass from Michigan State University, along with a minor in Business Management. He began his career in the golf course industry at Hawk Hollow Golf Club and Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club, where he developed a strong foundation in course maintenance and operations.
Damon is a Class A Golf Course Superintendent and an active member of both the Michigan Golf Course Superintendents Association (MGCSA) and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).
In 2003, Damon joined Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club as an Assistant Superintendent, a position he held until 2015. During his tenure, he played a key role in preparing the course for numerous high-profile tournaments, including multiple Buick Opens, The Ally Challenge events, and AJGA championships.
In 2015, Damon was promoted to Golf Course Superintendent at Sugarbush Golf Club, where he oversees all aspects of course management and agronomic operations. In 2022, Sugarbush expanded with the acquisition of The Captain’s Club, and he now manages maintenance and operations for both properties.
Outside of work, Damon enjoys spending quality time with my family and traveling the world with his wife.

Michael Sigworth is a passionate culinary professional with more than 25 years of experience in the food and hospitality industry. Throughout his career, he has worked across a variety of well-known chain restaurants, developing a strong foundation in kitchen leadership, hospitality, and creative cuisine.
Cooking has always been deeply rooted in his life, coming from a family of talented home cooks, his passion began with his grandmother, was passed down through his mother, and continues today through his own dedication to the craft.
Inspired by the comfort and connection that food brings to people; Michael has always known that the culinary world was where he belonged. His love for creating dishes that feel both innovative and familiar continues to drive his work every day.
In 2015, Michael began his golf course culinary career as a sous chef at The Jewel of Grand Blanc, where he expanded his culinary expertise and refined his leadership skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Through years of hard work, commitment, and creativity, he advanced through the industry and now proudly serves as Head Chef at STIX at Sugarbush. This is one of the greatest experiences of his career. He is grateful for the opportunity to share his culinary creations with the Davison community and remains committed to crafting memorable dining experiences that bring people together through great food.
Outside of the kitchen, Michael enjoys spending quality time with his family and appreciating the simple things in life. He loves attending concerts, collecting horror memorabilia, and exploring vintage gaming culture. His home is filled with energy and personality, shared with his three dogs, two cats, and a Russian tortoise. Michael is also a proud father of four children — a 14-year-old son, a 23-year-old daughter, a 12-year-old daughter, and an 8-year-old son — who continue to inspire and motivate him every day.

Leesa Gouin is a native of Gaylord, Michigan—the heart of the state’s “Golf Mecca” were she developed a passion for the game of golf at age seven. With six years of foundational work experience at premier courses like Michaywe Pines, Treetops, and Gaylord Golf Club, she mastered the nuances of golf operations and high-end guest services.
After stepping away to pursue a nursing education and raise her family, Leesa returned to the golf industry in 2024 at Sugarbush Golf Club as a Golf Shop Attendant. Her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail quickly saw her transition to her current role as Administrative Assistant for Sugarbush Golf Club.
Leesa has been married to her husband, Carl, for over 25 years. Together they have two sons, Cameron and Calvin, and two dogs, Hazel and Hardy. Outside the office, she is an avid golfer who loves camping and spending time with her family.

Josh Arsenault is an Assistant Golf Professional with a background in golf operations and player development. His experience includes daily operations, merchandising, and tournament support, along with private club experience, as well as working with our PGA Junior League helping youth improve fundamentals through clear, practical instruction.
He is currently enrolled in the PGA Associate Program as he works toward full PGA Membership. Outside of golf, Josh enjoys deer hunting in the fall, appreciating the beauty & time spent outdoors.

Tori Mauk has been a server and bartender at Sugarbush Golf Club for more than three years. As the club moved into 2026, she was promoted into the role of Banquet Captain. In her new leadership role, she has remained dedicated to creating a smooth, welcoming, and outstanding experience for every guest from the moment they walk through the doors. Her commitment to exceptional service, attention to detail, and positive attitude helps ensure that every event and visit is memorable for both guests and staff alike.
As she spends much of her time dedicated to her work at Sugarbush Golf Club. When she gets free time away from working, she enjoys golfing with friends, shopping, and spending quality time with her loved ones. She has an outgoing personality and passion for creating meaningful experiences in both her professional and personal life.

Gabrielle has been an integral part of the Sugarbush Golf Club team for the past four years. Recently promoted to banquet captain after serving as a dedicated bartender, she brings out wealth of experience in a passion for hospitality to every event. Gabrielle is deeply committed to building genuine connections with guest and ensuring a positive, supportive, work environment for team, making every gathering at the course as seamless and welcome to experience.
When she is off duty, Gabrielle enjoys cooking, unwinding with a good book, Or focusing on her latest Lego build. She also loved spending quality time with her family and relaxing at home with her three favorite companions – her dog, Titan, and her two cats, Sophie and Lucy.
