Headed Up North for a weekend of Michigan golf? There’s one stop you don’t want to miss: Sugarbush Golf Club in Davison, MI.
We’re tucked just a few minutes off US-23 and I-69, making us the ideal warm-up round for golfers en route to Gaylord, Traverse City, or any of the state’s legendary northern golf destinations.
Before you tee it up at the big resorts, sharpen your game on our rolling greens. Enjoy a full 18 holes without the stress — or the resort price tag. Whether you’re traveling solo, with buddies, or on a family trip, Sugarbush gives you a fun, fair, and memorable round that kicks off your golf weekend the right way.
⛳ A Course Built for Real Golfers
Sugarbush isn’t about flash. It’s about feel.
Our 18-hole layout was designed by PGA Life Member Larry Mancour back in 1958, and it still plays like golf was meant to be — walkable, scorable, and quietly demanding. You’ll find one of the longest par 5s in Michigan on Hole 13, but also short risk-reward holes that reward creativity over brute force.
We keep the conditions smooth and true. The pace steady. The greens roll quick, but fair — thanks to Superintendent Damon Murphy and his crew, who take pride in old-school turf care with modern know-how.
This is golf for players who appreciate character over flash, awareness over aggression, and a fair fight from tee to green.
